Free tours fill up, and spots held by people who don’t arrive are spots nobody else could take. A small deposit per person keeps the numbers honest for your guide — and it comes back to you under the same cancellation policy as any other booking.
Cancellation
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour starts — you get a full refund.
- Inside 24 hours, the booking is non-refundable.
- If we cancel the departure for any reason, you are refunded in full automatically.
Before you go
- Bring water.
- Bring a hat.
- Bring cash if you can — otherwise scan the guide’s QR code after the tour.
- Tour guides make their living from this, so please be kind and leave a tip. The average tip for a free walking tour in Barcelona is €15.
- There’s always the option of more activities with our guides — speak to them after the tour and you’ll find something to do.
