End the weekend on the water. Every Sunday we sail out of Kalamış Marina for two hours on the Sea of Marmara as the sun goes down over the old city — fresh sea air, the skyline from the sea, and good conversation with expats, travellers and digital nomads. What to expect: a relaxed sunset sail, spectacular views of Istanbul, a small international group, and the chance to learn the basics — help with the sails if you'd like, or just sit back and take photos. What to bring: comfortable clothes and a light jacket, soft-soled shoes (no heels), water and your favourite snacks or drinks. No sailing experience needed — beginners welcome. Eight people maximum, so spaces are limited and it's first come, first served. Paid in advance; if plans change, cancel as early as you can so someone on the waitlist gets your spot.
