Monastery, mountain paths and the Black Madonna — a full day out of the city.

We leave Plaça de Catalunya mid-morning, ride out toward the Montserrat massif, and take the cog-wheel or cable up to the monastery. Time with the Black Madonna, a short walk on the mountain paths for the views, and lunch options on site before the return. Tickets for the mountain transport are included; lunch is not. Wear shoes you can walk in — the paths are uneven and the wind is real up there. About six to seven hours door to door.
