Gaudí’s hillside garden city — mosaics, columns and the view over Barcelona.
We meet outside the main gates on Carrer d'Olot and walk Park Güell the way Gaudí meant it: as a failed housing estate that became the city’s favourite garden. The salamander, the hypostyle hall, the serpentine bench, and why Eusebi Güell’s rich neighbours never moved in. Park entry is not included — buy a timed ticket for the same slot as the tour, or join for the free outer paths and the story. About ninety minutes on foot, some stairs, shade only under the trees.
